The Sitter application ensures the babysitter has easy access to any information she may need. The application will tell her where you are, how she may get in touch with you, what number to call in case of an emergency, what Junior is allowed to do and eat, and what time Junior should be in bed. To sum it up, from a centralized location the sitter can access a lot of useful info.

The installation file for The Sitter application is only 2MB in size. Run this file and a simple setup wizard will show up and help you get it up and running. The Sitter provides support for Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP, according to the information provided by the developer.

You will see several buttons to the left and at the top of The Sitter’s interface. The tabs at the top present the information you want the sitter to be able to access. The buttons on the side let you access a handy Setup Wizard, the Options menu, and more.

Just go through the Setup Wizard and you’ll be able to easily and quickly enter a lot of information: where you will be, what number to call if you can’t be reached, medical info, what TV programs your child can watch, what chores he has to do, when he has to go to bed, special instructions, and more. To make sure this information is front and center, hit the Make Top Window button – it will make The Sitter the top window and disable other buttons.

Voice Commands and Talk Back are supported by The Sitter. Voice Commands refers to the fact that the computer can hear you and call the needed phone number and it also means Talk Back refers to the fact that a computer voice can call out phone numbers for you. Speaking about phone numbers, The Sitter comes with an Auto Dial feature that will dial a phone number for you.

Security oriented users will appreciate that they can password protect The Sitter. This will prevent the babysitter from altering any info you provide and from accessing the Sitter List function.

The Sitter is freeware.

Enjoy your night out safe in the knowledge that all the information the sitter needs is readily available.
